Function:
Cholesterol gallbladder stones that are not suitable for surgical treatment (the stones must be X-ray penetrable and the gallbladder contraction function must be normal). Prevent drug-induced stone formation. Cholestatic liver disease (such as primary biliary cirrhosis) and chronic liver disease with intrahepatic cholestasis. Bile reflux gastritis. Steatorrhea (after ileal resection).
Dosage:
The recommended oral daily dose for adults is 13 to 15 mg/kg, taken 2 to 4 times with food, and the dose should be adjusted according to the individual needs of the patient. When used for bile reflux gastritis, take 250 mg a day before going to bed at night. The minimum course of treatment is 6 months. If there is no improvement in the ultrasound examination and cholecystography after 6 months, the medication can be discontinued; if the stones have been partially dissolved, continue taking the medication until the stones are completely dissolved. Children take 8~10mg/kg orally daily, divided into 2~3 times.
Adverse reactions:
Adverse reactions observed in clinical trials include diarrhea, increased creatinine, increased blood sugar, leukopenia, peptic ulcer, rash, and thrombocytopenia. Adverse reactions observed in a randomized crossover study of 60 patients with primary biliary cirrhosis included abdominal pain, weakness, nausea, dyspepsia, anorexia, and esophagitis. Post-marketing reported adverse reactions are classified by organ system as follows: Digestive system: abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, nausea, vomiting. Systemic and administration site: general malaise, peripheral edema, fever. Immune system: Drug allergies, including facial edema, urticaria, angioedema, and laryngeal edema. Musculoskeletal and connective tissue: myalgia. Nervous system: dizziness, headache. Respiratory system: Cough. Skin and subcutaneous tissue: alopecia, pruritus, rash.
Drug contraindications:
Contraindicated if allergic to this product. Contraindicated if liver function is impaired. Use with caution during pregnancy. Use with caution during lactation. Use with caution in children.
