Effects and efficacy:
Used for acute simple lower urinary tract infection caused by sensitive Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Klebsiella pneumoniae, certain Enterobacteriaceae and saprophytic Staphylococcus.
Usage and dosage:
For the treatment of acute simple urinary tract infection, the usual dosage for adults: oral, 1 tablet (0.1g) each time, once every 12 hours or 2 tablets (0.2g) each time, once a day, for 7-10 days. Adult patients with renal impairment need to reduce the dosage. When the creatinine clearance rate is 30ml/min (0.5ml/s), the usual dosage for adults is still used; when the creatinine clearance rate is 15-30ml/min (0.25-0.5ml/s), take 0.5 tablets (50mg) every 12 hours; when the creatinine clearance rate is (15ml/min (0.25ml/s), this product should not be used. Intravenous drip. 30-100mg once, 80-200mg a day.
Adverse reactions:
Due to the interference of this product with folic acid metabolism, it can produce Adverse reactions of the blood system may cause leukopenia, thrombocytopenia or methemoglobin anemia. Generally, leukopenia and thrombocytopenia are mild, and recovery is expected with timely discontinuation of the drug. Folic acid preparations can also be added. Allergic reactions may cause itching and rash, and occasionally severe exudative erythema multiforme. Gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are generally mild. Aseptic meningitis may occasionally occur, with symptoms such as headache, stiff neck, and nausea.
