Tirofiban Hydrochloride,

Function:
Tirofiban can be used to treat coronary heart disease, myocardial ischemia, atherosclerosis, atherosclerotic plaque rupture and other partial or complete vascular occlusion diseases caused by excessive coagulation or hypercoagulability of blood.

Dosage:
It should be used in combination with heparin. The starting dose of tirofiban is 10 µg/kg. After intravenous infusion within 3 minutes, the intravenous infusion is maintained at 0.15 µg/(kg·min) for 36 hours, and then heparin is stopped. Unstable angina or non-Q-wave myocardial infarction: Combined with heparin, start with 0.4 µg/(kg·min) intravenously for 30 minutes, and then maintain intravenous infusion with 0.1 µg/(kg·min). In efficacy studies, tirofiban was infused in combination with heparin for at least 48 hours (average 71.3 hours, up to 108 hours). The infusion can be continued during angiography and for 12 to 24 hours after coronary angioplasty or intracoronary atherectomy.
