Effects and efficacy:
It is used for menopausal syndrome caused by natural menopause and surgical menopause (such as hot flashes, sweating, etc.), and can treat low estrogen symptoms caused by natural menopause and surgical menopause in women. For all patients, whether to prescribe this product for treatment should be determined based on the overall risk assessment of the patient. For patients over 60 years old, the risk of stroke should also be considered.
Usage and dosage:
Adults take orally, one tablet at a time, once a day, preferably at the same time every day. After the symptoms disappear, it can be changed to 1.25 mg per day, which needs to be used for 3 months or longer. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. Elderly people generally do not need to adjust the dose. Women who are used to treat menopausal syndrome caused by natural menopause should start taking tibolone at least 12 months after the last menstrual period; if it is after surgical menopause, tibolone treatment can be started immediately. During the continuation or discontinuation of HRT (hormone replacement therapy), any unexplained irregular vaginal bleeding should be identified, and after excluding malignant tumors, tibolone treatment can be started. Switching from sequential combination therapy or continuous combination therapy with HRT preparations: If switching from sequential combination therapy to tibolone therapy, treatment should be started one day after the previous treatment regimen is completed.
