Thalidomide Tablets.

Effects and efficacy: Acute treatment of moderate to severe leprosy erythema nodosum skin symptoms. For thrush with or without HIV infection.

Usage and dosage:
Oral: 25~50mg once, 100~300mg a day. For the treatment of type II leprosy reactions, adults 100~300mg, times/day, before bedtime; severe cases can be increased to 400mg/d. Once a satisfactory effect is achieved, the dose should be gradually reduced by 50mg, once every 2~4 weeks. The dosage for the treatment of thrush ulcers is 50~300mg/d. ≤50mg is sufficient to control the refractory rash in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. This low dose generally has no sedative effect. For the treatment of multiple myeloma, 200mg once, taken after dinner, at least 1h before bedtime, and dexamethasone 40mg at 1~4d, 9~12d, 17~20d, 28d a course of treatment.

Adverse reactions:
This product is teratogenic even at low doses. Peripheral neuropathy may occur, sometimes even irreversibly. It has sedative effects, orthostatic hypotension, dry mouth, dry skin and constipation. Fever, rash, edema, hypothyroidism, neutropenia and allergic reactions may also occur.

Drug contraindications:
Allergic to this product is prohibited. It is prohibited during pregnancy. It is prohibited during lactation. It is prohibited for children. It is prohibited for driving. It is prohibited during the period of preparing for pregnancy.
