Terazosin Hydrochloride Tablets

Effects and efficacy:
It is used to treat hypertension. It can be used alone or with other antihypertensive drugs. It can be used in combination with thiazide diuretics or other antihypertensive drugs. It can also be used alone when other drugs are not applicable or ineffective. This product mainly reduces diastolic blood pressure. It is used to treat urination symptoms in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, such as frequent urination, urgency, thinning of urine stream, difficulty urinating, increased nocturia, and incomplete urination.
Usage and dosage:
For specific usage and dosage for different populations and different diseases, please consult a doctor and refer to the drug instructions of different preparations. Patients with hypertension: Take once a day before bedtime. The starting dose is 1mg, and the dose is gradually increased until a satisfactory effect is achieved. The commonly used dose is 2-10mg per day, and the maximum dose is 20mg per day. Those who need to restart treatment after stopping the drug must also start with 1mg and gradually increase the dose. Patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia: Take once a day before bedtime. The starting dose is 1mg, which can be increased appropriately as needed. Take 2, 5 or 10 mg orally per day before bedtime.
Adverse reactions:
Common: weakness, palpitations, nausea, peripheral edema, dizziness, drowsiness, nasal congestion, rhinitis and blurred vision, amblyopia. Occasionally: back pain, headache, tachycardia, postural hypotension, syncope, edema, weight gain, extremity pain, decreased libido, depression, nervousness, paresthesia, dyspnea, sinusitis, impotence. Serious adverse reactions: If any of the following side effects occur while taking terazosin, please see a doctor as soon as possible. Dizziness; dizziness, fainting (suddenly) when standing up from lying or sitting; chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, swelling of feet or calves.
Drug contraindications:
Allergic to this product is prohibited. It is prohibited during pregnancy and lactation.
