Functions and indications:
Sulindac tablets: used for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, periarticular diseases such as acute pain (acute subacromial bursitis/supraspinatus tendinitis) and tenosynovitis, acute gouty arthritis, painful low back syndrome (low back pain, usually attributed to low back pain), signs and symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection. Sulindac capsules: This product is suitable for rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Usage and dosage:
The dosage and dosage of different dosage forms and specifications of this product may vary. Please read the specific drug instructions for use, or follow the doctor’s advice. Sulindac tablets: 1. Common dosage for adults: 0.2g orally once, once in the morning and evening; it can be repeated after 8 hours for analgesia. 2. Common dosage for children over 2 years old: 2.25mg/kg per time according to body weight, twice a day, and the daily dose shall not exceed 6mg/kg. Sulindac capsules: Oral after meals. Adults: 2 times a day, 0.2g (2 capsules) each time, or follow the doctor’s advice.
Adverse reactions:
Sulindac tablets: 1. Common adverse reactions are gastrointestinal reactions, including upper abdominal pain, abdominal distension, indigestion, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, poor appetite, etc., and fewer cases of gastrointestinal ulcers. 2. Rare central nervous system symptoms, such as dizziness, headache, drowsiness, and insomnia. 3. Rare bone marrow suppression, acute renal failure, heart failure, aseptic meningitis, liver damage and Stevens-Johnson syndrome. 4. Others: Occasionally rash, itching, irritability, depression, etc. Sulindac capsules: A few cases have abdominal distension, abdominal pain, nausea, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, etc., and may occasionally cause gastric mucosal bleeding. Occasionally rash, itching, irritability, depression, etc. Long-term use of the drug may cause kidney damage.
Contraindications:
1. Patients known to be allergic to this product. 2. It is contraindicated for the treatment of perioperative pain during coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). 3. Patients who have experienced asthma, urticaria or allergic reactions after taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
