Sodium hyaluronate injection
Jointly created by the State Food and Drug Administration
Effects:
Sodium hyaluronate injection can be used for deformed knee joint disease (bursitis, synovitis), shoulder periarthritis (periarthritis of shoulder).
Usage and dosage:
Adults take 1 bottle (25mg of sodium hyaluronate) once a week for 5 consecutive weeks into the knee joint cavity or shoulder joint (shoulder joint cavity, subacromial bursa or biceps brachii long head tendon sheath), and increase or decrease the number of administrations appropriately under the guidance of a doctor according to the severity of the symptoms. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. If there is effusion in the joint cavity, the effusion should be drawn out first and then the drug should be injected. Sodium hyaluronate injection is only an intra-articular injection and must be strictly sterile. The adverse reactions of sodium hyaluronate injection are mainly local pain, local swelling, joint edema, etc. The above adverse reactions can often disappear in a short time and generally do not require special treatment. Some patients may experience transient pain, swelling or fever at the injection site, and occasionally rash and itching. Allergic symptoms such as shock and urticaria rarely occur.
