Sitagliptin and Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-release Tablets

Saxagliptin Metformin Extended Release Tablets are hypoglycemic drugs suitable for adult patients with type 2 diabetes receiving combined treatment with saxagliptin and metformin to improve blood sugar control in such patients.
This product combines two hypoglycemic drugs with complementary mechanisms of action, saxagliptin and metformin. Saxagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that can reduce the inactivation rate of incretin hormones and increase the concentration of incretin hormones in the blood; metformin can inhibit the glycogen synthesis of the liver, reduce the absorption of glucose in the small intestine, and improve the sensitivity of peripheral tissues to insulin. The two work together to control blood sugar.
