Function and indication:
Rifamycin Sodium Injection, Rifamycin Sodium for Injection: Used for the combined treatment of tuberculosis infection and severe methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and refractory Legionella infection.
Usage and Dosage:
This product has a variety of dosage forms and specifications. The same drug produced by different manufacturers may have inconsistent instructions. Please read the drug instructions carefully before taking the drug and follow the doctor’s advice. Rifamycin Sodium Injection, Rifamycin Sodium for Injection: 1. Intravenous drip: (1) Adults: 500 mg once for general infection, dissolved in 250 ml of 5% glucose injection, twice a day. Moderate to severe infection: 1000 mg once, dissolved in 500 ml of 5% glucose injection, twice a day, the drip rate should not be too fast. (2) Children: The dosage is 10-30 mg/kg body weight per day, twice a day or as directed by the doctor. 2. Intravenous push: Adults: 500 mg once, 2-3 times a day. Push slowly.
Adverse reactions:
Rifamycin Sodium Injection, Rifamycin Sodium for Injection: 1. Temporary yellowing of the sclera or skin may occur if the infusion is too fast; intramuscular injection may cause local pain, sometimes sclerosis and lumps. 2. A small number of patients may experience transient liver damage, jaundice and kidney damage. 3. Other adverse reactions include nausea, loss of appetite and dizziness, occasionally tinnitus and hearing loss, allergic dermatitis, etc.
Contraindications:
Rifamycin Sodium Injection, Rifamycin Sodium for Injection: 1. Patients with liver disease or liver damage are prohibited from using this product. 2. Patients who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using this product.
