It can treat Lassa fever or epidemic hemorrhagic fever (nephrotic syndrome hemorrhagic fever) (intravenous drip or oral); it can be used for severe hospitalized patients with bronchiolitis and pneumonia caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in infants and young children (aerosol); prevent and treat viral upper respiratory tract infections (nasal drops); herpes simplex virus keratitis, corneal herpes zoster, superficial punctate keratitis and trachoma (eye drops); it can also be used for acute hepatitis A that is refractory to interferon alone.

Usage and dosage:
Children must use the medicine under the guidance of a doctor and adult supervision. Please take the medicine as prescribed by the doctor. For viral respiratory tract infections: adults take 0.15 g orally once, 3 times a day, for 7 consecutive days. Treatment of Lassa fever: 2g first dose, followed by 1g, once every 6 hours, for 4 consecutive days, then 500mg, once every 8 hours, for 6 consecutive days; the best effect is achieved if the medication is started within 6 days of onset. For prevention, 600mg can be taken orally, 4 times a day, for 10 consecutive days. Early epidemic hemorrhagic fever: 500mg can be taken orally, twice a day; or intravenous drip, for 3 consecutive days. Eye drops: once an hour, 1-2 drops each time; after the condition improves, gradually reduce the number of eye drops; or use its eye ointment to apply to the eyes, 4-6 times a day. Eye ointment: 2-4 times a day, applied to the conjunctival sac of the eye. Acute hepatitis A: 600mg can be taken orally daily, for a course of 10 days. Combined with pegylated interferon and HCV protease inhibitors to treat hepatitis C: 800-1200mg, taken twice a day, for a course of 24 weeks (genotypes 2 and 3) or 48 weeks (genotypes 1 and 4). Combined with interferon to treat chronic refractory hepatitis B; take 400mg (weight <75kg) or 600mg (weight >75kg) orally in the morning, and 600mg (regardless of weight) orally in the evening, for 6 months; subcutaneous injection of 3 million U interferon α2b, 3 times a week.
