Effects and efficacy:
Pyrazinamide is only effective against mycobacteria and is used in combination with other anti-tuberculosis drugs (such as streptomycin, isoniazid, rifampicin and ethambutol) to treat tuberculosis. It is used to participate in the multi-drug regimen to treat tuberculosis, mainly for the first 8 weeks of short-term therapy, or for retreatment cases that have developed resistance to other anti-tuberculosis drugs. Usage and dosage:
Pyrazinamide is administered orally. It is used in combination with other anti-tuberculosis drugs (such as streptomycin, isoniazid, rifampicin and ethambutol, etc.) to treat tuberculosis. Common dosage for adults (usually used for the first 2 to 3 months of tuberculosis treatment): combined with other anti-tuberculosis drugs, 15-30mg/kg per day, or 50-70mg/kg, 2-3 times a week. The maximum daily dose for daily use is 2g, the maximum dose for 3 times a week is 3g each time, and the maximum dose for 2 times a week is 4g each time.
