PRAZIQUANTEL TABLETS

Effects and efficacy: Praziquantel is suitable for the treatment of various schistosomiasis, clonorchiasis, paragonimiasis, fasciocergia, as well as tapeworms and cysticercosis.
Usage and dosage:
Treatment of schistosomiasis: various chronic schistosomiasis adopts a total dose of 60mg/kg for 1-2 days, and the daily dose is taken 2-3 times between meals. The total dose for acute schistosomiasis is 120mg/kg, which is taken 2-3 times a day for 4 consecutive days. Those weighing more than 60kg are calculated as 60kg. Clonorchiasis: The total dose is 210mg/kg, 3 times a day, for 3 consecutive days. Paragonimiasis: 25mg/kg, 3 times a day, for 3 consecutive days. Fasciola fasciocergia: 15mg/kg, taken all at once. Treatment of tapeworms: 10mg/kg, taken all at once in the morning, and magnesium sulfate is taken 1 hour later. Hymenolepis shortissima and Diphyllobothrium latum infection: 25mg/kg, taken all at once. The total dose for the treatment of cysticercosis is 120~180mg/kg, taken for 3~5 days, and the daily dose is taken 2~3 times. Patients with cerebral cysticercosis need to be hospitalized, and supplemented with treatment measures to prevent cerebral edema and reduce high intracranial pressure (using dexamethasone and dehydrating agents) or prevent and treat status epilepticus to prevent accidents.
Drug contraindications:
Allergy to this product is prohibited. Use with caution during lactation. Use with caution in liver and kidney dysfunction. Use with caution in liver damage. Use with caution in kidney damage.
