Posaconazole oral suspension is a Western medicine that can be used to prevent invasive Aspergillus and Candida infections and treat oropharyngeal candidiasis, as follows:
Prevention of invasive Aspergillus and Candida infections: This product is suitable for patients aged 13 years and older who are at increased risk of these infections due to severe immunodeficiency, such as patients with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), or patients with hematological malignancies with prolonged neutropenia caused by chemotherapy.
Treatment of oropharyngeal candidiasis, including oropharyngeal candidiasis refractory to itraconazole and/or fluconazole.
