Phenoxybenzamine hydrochloride

Phenoxybenzamine is a peripheral vasodilator, commonly used in tablets, injections, etc. It can be used for the treatment and preoperative preparation of pheochromocytoma, and can also be used to treat peripheral vasospasm and urinary retention caused by prostatic hyperplasia.

This product can act on postganglionic α-adrenaline receptors, prevent or reverse the effects of endogenous or exogenous catecholamines, dilate peripheral blood vessels, increase blood flow, and thus treat peripheral vasospasm; this product has the ability to selectively block α-receptors in the prostate, relax the contracted prostate fiber muscle tissue, and relieve and alleviate the symptoms of urethral obstruction.
