Effects and efficacy:
The oral preparation and injection of this product are suitable for a series of complications caused by the lack of L-carnitine in the body, such as cardiomyopathy, skeletal myopathy, arrhythmia, hyperlipidemia, as well as hypotension and muscle spasm during dialysis.
Usage and dosage:
For the specific usage and dosage of different populations and different diseases, please consult a doctor and refer to the drug instructions of different preparations. The oral liquid dosage and dosage for adults is 1-3g per day (the starting dose should be 1g per day, and the dose should be increased slowly according to the treatment response), divided into 2-3 doses, each with an interval of 3-4 hours. It is best to take it between meals or after meals. It can be taken alone or dissolved in other drinks or liquid food. The starting dose for pediatric use and dosage is 50mg/kg per day, and the dose is slowly increased according to needs and tolerance, usually 50-100mg/kg, but the maximum daily dose does not exceed 3g in total. The recommended starting dose of the injection after each dialysis is 10-20mg/kg, dissolved in 5-10mL sterile water for injection, and slowly injected intravenously over 2-3 minutes. When the plasma L-carnitine trough concentration is lower than the normal value (40-50μmol/L), treatment should be continued immediately, and the dose should be adjusted in the 3rd or 4th week of treatment (such as 5mg/kg after hemodialysis). Or follow the doctor’s advice.
