Perindopril tert-Butylamine Tablets

Effects and efficacy:
Hypertension, congestive heart failure.

Dosage and administration:
Perindopril is taken once a day. The effective dose for primary hypertension without sodium loss or renal failure (i.e. under normal circumstances) is 4 mg/day, taken once in the morning. Depending on the efficacy, the dose can be gradually increased to a maximum dose of 8 mg/day within three to four weeks. If necessary, potassium-excreting diuretics can be used in combination to further lower blood pressure. Patients with hypertension who have been treated with diuretics should stop taking diuretics three days before starting treatment. If necessary, diuretics can be added again later. Or start treatment with 2 mg and adjust the dose according to the antihypertensive effect. It is recommended to monitor blood creatinine and blood potassium levels before treatment and within the first 15 days of treatment. Elderly people start treatment with a small dose (2 mg/day, taken in the morning), and if necessary, increase to 4 mg/day after one month. The recommended starting dose for renovascular hypertension is 2 mg/day, and the dose is adjusted according to the patient’s blood pressure response. Serum creatinine and potassium should be checked to detect the presence of functional renal insufficiency. The dose of pesupri in case of renal insufficiency should be adjusted according to the degree of renal insufficiency. If the creatinine clearance is ≥60ml/min, no dose adjustment is required. If the creatinine clearance is <60ml/min, refer to the following table: Hypertensive patients on hemodialysis (Clcr <15ml/min) pesupri can be cleared by dialysis, and the dialysis clearance is 70ml/min. 2mg pesupri is given on the day of dialysis.
