Osimertinib Mesylate Tablets

Effects and efficacy:
Osimertinib mesylate tablets are indicated for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have experienced disease progression during or after treatment with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and have been confirmed to have EGFR T790M mutation-positive disease. Osimertinib mesylate tablets are used as the first-line treatment for adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who are positive for epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutations.
Dosage and administration:
The recommended dose of this product is 80 mg per day. Administration This product is for oral use. This product should be taken whole with water and should not be crushed, broken or chewed. If the patient is unable to swallow the drug, the tablet can be dissolved in 50 mL of carbonate-free water. The tablet should be placed in water without crushing, stirred directly until dispersed, and then swallowed quickly. Half a cup of water should then be added to ensure that there is no residue in the cup, and then quickly drunk. No other liquids should be added. When feeding through a gastric tube is required, the same method as above can be used, except that 15 mL of water is used to dissolve the drug initially and 15 mL of water is used to rinse the residue later. The 30 mL of liquid should be fed according to the instructions of the nasogastric tube manufacturer and rinsed with an appropriate amount of water. These dissolved liquids and residual liquids should be taken within 30 minutes after adding the tablets to the water.
Adverse reactions:
The most commonly reported adverse drug reactions are diarrhea, rash, paronychia, dry skin and oral mucositis. Serious adverse events are pneumonia and pulmonary embolism.

Allergic to this product is prohibited. Use with caution in children. Use with caution during pregnancy. Use with caution during lactation. Use with caution during the period of preparation for pregnancy. Use with caution in liver and kidney dysfunction.
