Nifedipine

Nifedipine, also known as 1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-(2-nitrophenyl)-3,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid dimethyl ester, is a dihydropyridine calcium antagonist used to prevent and treat angina pectoris caused by coronary heart disease, especially variant angina pectoris and angina pectoris caused by coronary artery spasm.
