Nicorandil

Function:
Used to treat angina pectoris.

Dosage:
The dose of nicorandil should be adjusted gradually based on the patient’s tolerance and control of angina. Overdose of nicorandil can cause hypotension. Oral dosage form: Start taking it with a small dose, the general starting dose is 5 mg three times a day, orally; the commonly used maintenance dose is 5 to 10 mg orally, three times a day. Generally, the daily dosage should not exceed 60mg. Injection dosage form: intravenous drip, with 2 mg/h as the starting dose. The dose can be increased or decreased appropriately according to symptoms. The recommended dosage is 4~6 mg/h, and continuous intravenous application within 48 hours. The maximum dose does not exceed 6mg/h. The discontinuation time is determined based on the patient’s symptoms and hemodynamics. In patients with hepatic impairment, liver function should be closely monitored and the dosage should be reduced.

Adverse reactions:
Common adverse reactions include headache. Other adverse reactions include dizziness, nausea, general malaise, palpitations, flushing, vomiting and fatigue. If any of the above adverse reactions occur, please inform your doctor or pharmacist in time. Once side effects occur, the medication should be stopped immediately and the doctor should be notified so that the doctor can determine the extent of the side effects and take necessary measures.

Drug contraindications:
If you are allergic to this product, use with caution during pregnancy. Use with caution during lactation. Use with caution if you have liver and kidney dysfunction.
