Effects and efficacy:
Generally used to treat hypertension and urinary tract obstruction caused by hypertension and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Usage and dosage:
Oral. Usually the initial dosage for adults is 25 mg once a day, taken before bedtime. The dosage can be adjusted appropriately according to the clinical efficacy. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 75 mg. Elderly patients should start taking the medicine from a low dose (12.5 mg/day) and pay attention to monitoring.
Adverse reactions:
Occasionally dizziness, standing vertigo, heavy head, headache, tinnitus, constipation, stomach discomfort, edema, chills, elevated aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT).
Drug contraindications:
