Mirabegron Sustained-release Tablets

Mirabegron sustained-release tablets are mainly composed of mirabegron, which can relax the bladder detrusor muscle and can be used to treat adult overactive bladder (OAB). They can also be used for the symptomatic treatment of patients with urinary urgency, frequent urination and (or) urge urinary incontinence.
Three β receptor subtypes (β1, β2, β3) have been found on human detrusor muscle cells and urethral epithelial cells, and the mRNA of β3 receptor is mainly expressed on human detrusor smooth muscle cells. Mirabegron binds to the β3 receptor of human bladder detrusor muscle cells, activates adenylate cyclase, and further produces cAMP to induce the bladder detrusor muscle to relax immediately, increase bladder capacity, and improve symptoms such as urinary urgency, frequent urination, and urge urinary incontinence.
