Indications]

Cholestatic pruritus in patients with Alagille syndrome (ALGS).

[Recommended dose and administration]

1. Dosage

The recommended dose is 380 mcg/kg once daily, taken 30 minutes before the first meal of the day. If the drug is tolerated, it is recommended to be taken orally once a day at a dose of 190 mcg/kg; after one week, increase to 380 mcg/kg once a day. The maximum daily dose for patients over 70 kg is 3 mL or 28.5 mg per day.

[Adverse Reactions]

Livmarli may cause serious side effects, including: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, changes or worsening of liver test results, nausea, vomiting, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), dark or brown urine, pain on the right side of the abdomen, loss of appetite, diarrhea, stomach pain, fractures and gastrointestinal bleeding. If you have any of the above symptoms, please seek medical attention immediately.

The most common side effects of Livmarli include: diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting, fat-soluble vitamin deficiencies (A, D, E, or K deficiencies), and elevated transaminases. Tell your doctor if you have any side effect that bothers you or that lasts.
