Usage and dosage:
Valproate magnesium tablets are taken orally. Start with a small dose, 200 mg once, 2 to 3 times a day, and gradually increase to 300 to 400 mg once, 2 to 3 times a day. Anti-mania starts with a small dose, 200 mg once, 2 to 3 times a day, and gradually increases to 300 to 400 mg once, 2 to 3 times a day. The maximum dose does not exceed 1.6g per day. Children over 6 years old should take 20-30 mg/kg per day according to body weight, divided into 3-4 doses. Magnesium valproate sustained-release tablets are suitable for patients who need 500 mg of magnesium valproate per day to control their condition. This product is taken orally at a dose of 250 mg twice a day, and the dosage should be gradually increased according to the condition and blood drug concentration as prescribed by the doctor. The maximum dose should not be higher than the maximum daily dose of ordinary tablets. The same drugs produced by different manufacturers may have inconsistent instructions.
