Letermovir Tablets
Letermovir tablets are antiviral drugs, clinically used to prevent CMV infection and CMV disease in adult recipients [R+] who are positive for cytomegalovirus (CMV) serology and receive allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT).
Letermovir tablets exert their antiviral effects by inhibiting the CMV DNA terminase complex pUL51, pUL56 and pUL89 (a terminase complex necessary for viral replication).
