Lansoprazole Enteric Capsules

Effects and efficacy:
Mainly used for gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, anastomotic ulcer, Helicobacter pylori infection, reflux esophagitis, gastrinoma (Zollinger-Ellison syndrome), etc.
Usage and dosage:
Common dosage for adults: Gastric, duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis: Adults usually take 30 mg each time, once a day, orally in the early morning. The course of treatment for duodenal ulcer is 4 weeks, gastric ulcer is 4 to 6 weeks, and reflux esophagitis is 8 to 10 weeks. Gastric or duodenal ulcer with Hp infection: Lansoprazole can be taken orally 30 mg each time, 1 to 2 times a day, combined with 1 to 2 antibiotics, 1 to 2 weeks as a course of treatment. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: The treatment dose varies from person to person and can be increased to 120 mg per day. Dosage for liver and kidney dysfunction: 15 mg once a day.
Adverse reactions:
Digestive system: Symptoms such as diarrhea, dry mouth, nausea, lack of appetite, blood in stool, constipation, abdominal distension, etc. may occur, and alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and γ-glutamyl transferase (GGT) may increase occasionally. Oral administration of this drug may cause mild enterochromaffin-like (ECL) cell proliferation in the gastric mucosa, which may return to normal after discontinuation of the drug. Nervous and mental system: headache, dizziness, drowsiness, and occasionally anxiety, insomnia, depression, etc. Hematological system: occasionally leukopenia, increased percentage of eosinophils, anemia, etc., and rarely thrombocytopenia. Urogenital system: frequent urination, proteinuria, impotence, etc. may occur. Allergic reactions: rash, urticaria, and skin itching may occur. Carcinogenicity: It has been reported that the incidence of testicular interstitial cell tumors increased in experiments with oral administration to rats (the dose is about 100 times the clinical dose), and a case of gastric carcinoid was found. Others: Fever, fatigue, myalgia, etc. may occur, and total cholesterol and uric acid may also increase.
