Isosorbide dinitrate

Function:
Coronary heart disease, persistent angina pectoris after myocardial infarction, and pulmonary hypertension.

Dosage:
Prevention of angina pectoris: Orally, 5-10 mg once, 2-3 times a day, total dose 10-30 mg a day; due to different individual reactions, the dose needs to be adjusted individually. To relieve symptoms: sublingual administration, 5 mg once. Treatment of heart failure: take sublingually, 5 to 15 mg once every 2 to 3 hours; or take 30 to 160 mg orally in divided doses per day, up to 240 mg per day in some cases. Portal hypertension: Taking 5~10mg of this product orally can reduce portal venous pressure by 35%~40%. Pain due to vasculitis: take 5 mg of this product orally, it takes effect in 2 minutes, and the effect lasts for 2 hours. Hemoptysis: 10~20mg daily, 3 times a day, bleeding usually stops in 2~4 days. Bronchial asthma: 5mg taken bucally. Abdominal pain: Take 5 mg sublingually. Asthma-suffocation pneumonia in children: On the basis of basic treatment, add 1 mg/kg of this product, taken orally or bucally in 3 times. High altitude heart disease and chronic congestive heart failure: Take 10 mg orally, 3 to 4 times a day, for 2 to 10 days. Refractory pulmonary tuberculosis and hemoptysis: 10 to 20 mg sublingually or orally, 3 times a day, for 14 days. Hiccup: Take 5 mg sublingually. If no relief occurs within 30 minutes, take another 5 mg sublingually and take 5 mg orally.

Adverse reactions:
Nitrate-induced vasodilatory headache may occur in the early stage of taking this product, and facial flushing, dizziness, orthostatic hypotension and reflex tachycardia may also occur. Occasionally, blood pressure drops significantly, bradycardia and angina pectoris worsen, and collapse and syncope are rare.

Drug contraindications:
If you are allergic to this product, use with caution during pregnancy. Use with caution during lactation.
