Effect and efficacy: This product is suitable for the treatment of essential hypertension. This fixed-dose combination is used to treat patients whose blood pressure cannot be effectively controlled by irbesartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone.
Usage and dosage: This product is used to treat patients whose blood pressure cannot be effectively controlled by irbesartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone. Use on an empty stomach or with meals. The usual starting and maintenance dose is once a day, 1 tablet each time, which can be increased to once a day, 2 tablets each time according to the condition. It is recommended that patients adjust the dose of a single component (i.e. irbesartan or hydrochlorothiazide) in combination therapy before using a fixed-dose combination. When the dose of each single drug is fixed in the combination therapy, this combination can be used as a substitute. The 150mg/12.5mg combination can be used for patients whose blood pressure cannot be effectively controlled by hydrochlorothiazide or irbesartan 150mg alone. The 300mg/12.5mg combination can be used for patients whose blood pressure cannot be controlled by irbesartan 300mg alone or by 150mg/12.5mg combination. The 300mg/25mg combination can be used for patients who cannot control their blood pressure with 300mg/12.5mg alone. It is not recommended to use a once-daily dose greater than irbesartan 300mg/hydrochlorothiazide 25mg. If necessary, this product can be used in combination with other antihypertensive drugs. The same drugs produced by different manufacturers may have inconsistent instructions.
