Idarubicin is a Western medicine, an anthracycline cytotoxic antitumor drug. The main indications of idarubicin are:
Idarubicin hydrochloride capsules:
Acute non-lymphocytic leukemia: used for the first-line treatment of adult acute non-lymphocytic leukemia; treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory acute non-lymphocytic leukemia who cannot be given idarubicin intravenously. Idarubicin hydrochloride capsules can also be used in combination chemotherapy with other cytotoxic drugs.
Advanced breast cancer: Idarubicin hydrochloride capsules can be used for the treatment of advanced breast cancer that has failed first-line chemotherapy without anthracyclines or hormonal therapy.
