Function:
Icatibant acetate injection is approved in China and is mainly used to treat acute attacks of hereditary angioedema (HAE) in adults, adolescents and children aged ≥2 years.

Dosage:
The recommended therapeutic dose of this product for adults is 30 mg/time, administered by slow abdominal subcutaneous injection. Typically, a single injection is enough to treat an episode of the disease. In the case of insufficient relief or recurrence of symptoms, a second injection can be given 6 hours later. If the second injection is not effective enough to relieve symptoms or symptoms recur, a third injection can be given 6 hours later. Do not give more than 3 doses in 24 hours. In completed clinical trials, the number of doses per month did not exceed 8. The recommended dose of this product for pediatric patients needs to be determined based on the weight of children and adolescents (2 to 17 years old), see the table for details.
