Hydroxybenzone hydrochloride eye drops are an antiviral drug, mainly used for acute epidemic hemorrhagic conjunctivitis.
Epidemic hemorrhagic conjunctivitis: an epidemic self-limiting ocular infectious disease caused by enterovirus type 70 (occasionally by coxsackievirus type A24), also known as “Apollo 11 conjunctivitis”, with a rapid onset and severe irritation symptoms.
Hydroxybenzone hydrochloride eye drops selectively inhibit the microRNA viral polymerase of infected cells, thereby inhibiting the synthesis of viral RNA and thus inhibiting the virus.
