Effects and efficacy:
Used to treat and prevent osteoarthritis in various parts of the body, including knee joints, hip joints, spine, wrist, hand, shoulder joints and ankle joints.
Usage and dosage:
Hydrochloride preparations of this product Glucosamine hydrochloride tablets and capsules: 0.24-0.48g once, 3 times a day, usually 4-12 weeks as a course of treatment; or 0.75g once, 2 times a day, 6 weeks as a course of treatment. If necessary, the course of treatment can be extended, and the treatment can be repeated 2-3 times a year. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. Glucosamine hydrochloride granules: 0.24-0.48g once, 3 times a day, usually 4-12 weeks as a course of treatment. If necessary, it can be more than 6 weeks, and the treatment can be repeated 2-3 times a year. Sulfate preparations of this product Glucosamine sulfate tablets: 0.25-0.5g (1-2 tablets) once, 3 times a day, for 4-12 weeks. Extend the course of treatment under the guidance of a doctor as needed, and the treatment can be repeated 2-3 times a year. Glucosamine sulfate effervescent tablets and capsules: 0.5g at a time, 3 times a day, for 6 consecutive weeks. The course of treatment can be extended under the guidance of a doctor as needed, and the treatment can be repeated at an interval of 2 months. Glucosamine sulfate granules: 0.25-0.5g at a time, 3 times a day, for 3 consecutive months. The treatment can be repeated at an interval of 2 months. Note: This product is taken orally during or after meals to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort in patients (especially patients with gastric ulcers).
Adverse reactions:
Rare and mild gastrointestinal discomfort, such as nausea, constipation, bloating and diarrhea. Mild headache, fatigue and drowsiness, occasionally mild sleepiness. Some patients may experience allergic reactions, such as rash, itching and skin erythema. In addition, there have been reports of visual impairment, hair loss, bronchial asthma and increased blood sugar.
Drug contraindications:
Allergic to this product is prohibited. It is prohibited during pregnancy and lactation. It should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney dysfunction.
