Glibenclamide

Function:
Glibenclamide has a hypoglycemic effect and is mainly suitable for mild to moderate non-insulin-dependent diabetes (type 2 diabetes) in which diet alone is not effective. The patient’s beta islet cells need to have a certain function of secreting insulin and have no serious complications. Note that glyburide is not suitable for type 1 diabetes. Please consult your doctor before taking the medication and use it under the guidance of your doctor.

Dosage:
Glibenclamide tablets: Take orally, starting with 2.5 mg (1 tablet) once before breakfast, or before breakfast and lunch; for mild cases, 1.25 mg once, 3 times a day, before meals; every 7 days The daily dose is increased by 2.5 mg. Please follow your doctor’s advice for details. The usual dosage is 5-10mg per day, and the maximum daily dosage does not exceed 15mg. Glibenclamide capsules: taken orally. Initially, take 1 capsule (1.75mg) each time, once before breakfast, or once before breakfast and lunch. Please follow your doctor’s advice for details. If necessary, you can take 3-4 pills (5.25-7mg) per day under the guidance of a doctor. The maximum dosage should not exceed 6 pills (10.5mg) per day. Note: During the period of medication, blood sugar, urine sugar, urine ketones, urine protein, liver and kidney function should be measured regularly, and eye examinations should be performed.
