Dosage and Administration:
For the treatment of bacillary dysentery or other bacterial intestinal infections, and for preparation before colon surgery. Tablets, effervescent tablets, and enteric-coated tablets: Oral, 240-640 mg per day for adults, divided into 4 doses; 5-10 mg/kg per day for children, divided into 4 doses according to body weight. Granules: Oral, 80-160 mg per time for adults, 3-4 times a day; 10-15 mg/kg per day for children, divided into 3-4 doses according to body weight. Sustained-release tablets for the treatment of chronic gastritis, Helicobacter pylori infection, and mild acute enteritis: Oral, 80 mg per time, twice a day. The course of treatment for mild acute enteritis is 3-5 days; for Helicobacter pylori infection of the stomach and duodenum, the course of treatment is 3-4 weeks. Take 1 hour after meals. For adults with severe infections: intramuscular injection or intravenous drip after dilution, 80 mg (80,000 units) per time, or 1-1.7 mg/kg per time according to body weight, once every 8 hours; or 5 mg/kg per time, once every 24 hours. The course of treatment is 7-14 days. Children: Intramuscular injection or intravenous drip after dilution, 2.5 mg/kg once, once every 12 hours; or 1.7 mg/kg once, once every 8 hours. The course of treatment is 7-14 days, during which the blood drug concentration should be monitored as much as possible, especially for newborns or infants. When intravenously dripping, add a single dose to 50-200 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose injection. The amount of liquid added for intravenous drip once a day should be no less than 300 ml, so that the concentration of the drug solution does not exceed 0.1%. The solution should be dripped slowly within 30-60 minutes to avoid neuromuscular blocking effects. For intrathecal and intraventricular administration of central nervous system infections: 4-8 mg for adults once, 1-2 mg for children (over 3 months old), once every 2-3 days. When injecting, dilute the drug solution to a concentration not exceeding 0.2%, draw it into a 5ml or 10ml sterile syringe, and after lumbar puncture, let a considerable amount of cerebrospinal fluid flow into the syringe first, draw and push, and slowly inject all the drug solution within 3-5 minutes. For ocular medication for conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and meibomian gland inflammation: drip this product into the eyelid, 1-2 drops at a time, 3-5 times a day. The dosage for patients with renal impairment is injected once every 8 hours for patients with normal renal function, and the normal dose is 1-1.7mg/kg at a time; when the creatinine clearance rate is 10-50ml/min, once every 12 hours, 30-70% of the normal dose at a time; when the creatinine clearance rate is <10ml/min, 20-30% of the normal dose is given every 24-48 hours. After hemodialysis, according to the severity of the infection, adults can be supplemented with a dose of 1-1.7mg/kg per body weight, and children (over 3 months old) can be supplemented with 2-2.5mg/kg at a time.
