Fluvastatin is a lipid-regulating drug, which includes fluvastatin sodium capsules and fluvastatin sodium sustained-release tablets. It is suitable for patients with primary hypercholesterolemia whose diet is not fully controlled, and patients with mixed dyslipidemia whose diet is not fully controlled.

This product can inhibit the activity of hydroxymethylglutaryl phosphodiesterase A (HMG-CoA) reductase in the body, increase the number of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) receptors in liver cells, thereby inhibiting the synthesis of cholesterol and increasing the clearance rate of LDL cholesterol to achieve the effect of lowering cholesterol.
