Fludarabine is an anti-tumor drug used to treat patients with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) who have received at least one standard regimen containing alkylating agents, but whose condition has not improved or continues to progress during or after treatment.
This product is a fluorinated nucleotide analog of the antiviral drug adenosine, and its metabolites can inhibit DNA synthesis by inhibiting ribonucleotide reductase, DNA polymerase, DNA primase and DNA ligase. In addition, it can also partially inhibit RNA polymerase II to reduce protein synthesis.
