Ethambutol Hydrochloride Tablets.

Ethambutol is a synthetic antibacterial tuberculosis drug. It mainly targets bacteria in the growth and reproduction stage, has little effect on dormant bacteria, and has high antibacterial activity against various types of mycobacteria. This product can enter the mycobacteria in the vigorous reproduction period, inhibit the anabolism of their RNA, interfere with the protein synthesis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, thereby inhibiting bacterial reproduction and causing bacterial death.
It is commonly used in clinical treatment of tuberculosis and other mycobacterial infections. This product is safe and effective, and has currently replaced para-aminosalicylic acid as a first-line drug for clinical use.
Tuberculosis: It is often combined with other anti-tuberculosis drugs (isoniazid, rifampicin and streptomycin) to treat various types of tuberculosis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
