:Estradiol benzoate

Effects and efficacy: Perimenopausal syndrome, amenorrhea, primary ovarian failure, functional uterine bleeding, advanced prostate cancer. Usage and dosage: Intramuscular injection for the treatment of functional bleeding, start with intramuscular injection of 4-6mg/d, gradually reduce the dose after the bleeding stops, reduce to 1mg per day, and then reduce to 1mg every other day, stop the medication 21 days after the bleeding stops, and add progesterone during the last week of medication. Weaning, intramuscular injection of 2-4mg per day for 3-5 days. Prostate hypertrophy, prostate cancer, intramuscular injection of 1-2mg each time, 2-3 times a week. Alternative treatment: intramuscular injection of 0.5-1.5mg each time, 2-3 times a week. For external use, apply 1.5g each time (containing 1.35mg estradiol benzoate or 0.98mg estradiol) on clean skin (such as the inner side of the arm, lower abdomen, waist, buttocks and thighs, etc.), once a day, and use it continuously on the 1st to 24th day of the lunar calendar every month, and take oral medroxyprogesterone tablets 4mg daily on the 15th to 24th day of the month. Adverse reactions:
Gastrointestinal adverse reactions include nausea, vomiting, etc. A few patients experience headaches, dizziness, breast tenderness, increased vaginal discharge, etc. Edema may occur due to water and sodium retention.
