Esmolol

Function:
Control ventricular rate in the treatment of atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter; perioperative hypertension and sinus tachycardia.

Dosage:
To control atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter. To control ventricular rate: Adults first inject a loading dose of 0.5mg/kg/min intravenously for about 1 minute, and then the maintenance dose of intravenous infusion: starting from 0.05mg/kg/min, and after 4 minutes if the effect is satisfactory, Continue; if the effect is not good, the loading dose can be repeated and the maintenance dose can be increased by 0.05mg/kg/min. The maximum maintenance dose can be up to 0.3 mg/kg/min, but no significant benefit will be seen if the dose exceeds 0.2 mg/kg/min. Perioperative hypertension or tachycardia: Immediately control the dose to 1 mg/kg, intravenously inject within 30 seconds, continue to give 0.15 mg/kg/min intravenously, the maximum maintenance dose is 0.3 mg/kg/min; gradually control the dose in the same room Treatment of supratropic tachycardia; the dosage used to treat hypertension is usually greater than that used to treat arrhythmia.

Drug contraindications:
If you are allergic to this product, it is contraindicated. Use with caution in children. Use with caution during lactation. Use with caution if there is renal impairment.
