Esmolol Hydrochloride Injection

Effects and efficacy:
Control ventricular rate when treating atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter; perioperative hypertension and sinus tachycardia.
Usage and dosage:
Control atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter to control ventricular rate: Adults first intravenously inject a loading dose of 0.5mg/kg/min for about 1 min, followed by intravenous drip maintenance dose: start with 0.05mg/kg/min, and continue after 4 min if the effect is ideal; if the effect is not good, the loading dose can be repeated and the maintenance dose can be increased by 0.05mg/kg/min. The maximum maintenance dose can be up to 0.3mg/kg/min, but the dose exceeds 0.2mg/kg/min without significant benefit. Perioperative hypertension or tachycardia: Immediate control dose is 1mg/kg, intravenously injected within 30 seconds, and then 0.15mg/kg/min is dripped, with a maximum maintenance dose of 0.3mg/kg/min; gradually control the dose with supraventricular tachycardia treatment; the dose used to treat hypertension is usually larger than the dose used to treat arrhythmia.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product. Use with caution in children. Use with caution during lactation. Use with caution for renal impairment.
