Effects and efficacy: This product can be used as an alternative to penicillin allergic patients to treat the following infections: acute tonsillitis, acute pharyngitis, sinusitis caused by hemolytic streptococci, pneumococcus, etc.; scarlet fever and cellulitis caused by hemolytic streptococci; diphtheria and diphtheria carriers; gas gangrene, anthrax, tetanus; actinomycosis; syphilis; listeriosis, etc. Legionnaires’ disease. Mycoplasma pneumonia. Chlamydia pneumoniae pneumonia. Urinary and reproductive system infections caused by Chlamydia and Mycoplasma. Chlamydia trachomatis conjunctivitis. Oral infections caused by anaerobic bacteria. Campylobacter jejuni enteritis. Whooping cough. Recurrent rheumatic fever, infective endocarditis (after rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease, heart valve replacement surgery) and preventive medication during oral and upper respiratory tract medical operations (alternative to penicillin). Dosage and administration: Erythromycin ethylsuccinate tablets, erythromycin ethylsuccinate orally disintegrating tablets, erythromycin ethylsuccinate granules, erythromycin ethylsuccinate tablets, and granules are taken orally. Erythromycin ethylsuccinate orally disintegrating tablets are to place the tablets in the mouth, disintegrate and disperse, and then swallow with saliva; or swallow after dissolving in a small amount of water; or drink after dissolving in warm water, and can be taken before or after meals. Erythromycin ethylsuccinate dry suspension is to pour this product into a cup, add an appropriate amount of cold boiled water, shake well and take orally. Adults take 1.6g per day, divided into 2-4 times. Legionnaires’ disease should use a larger amount, 0.4-1.0g each time, 4 times a day. The daily amount for adults should generally not exceed 4g. To prevent streptococcal infection, take 400mg once, twice a day. For chlamydia or Ureaplasma urealyticum infection, take 800mg once, once every 8 hours, for 7 days; or 400mg once, once every 6 hours, for 14 days. Children take 7.5-12.5 mg/kg orally 4 times a day, according to body weight each time; or 15-25 mg/kg twice a day; in case of severe infection, the daily dose can be doubled and taken in 4 times. Children with pertussis take 10-12.5 mg/kg orally each time, 4 times a day, for a course of 14 days. Erythromycin ethylsuccinate dispersible tablets, this product is a dispersible tablet, which can be swallowed directly with water, or it can be put into an appropriate amount of water and stirred until it is suspended before taking. Children: Age, weight and degree of infection are important factors in determining the dosage. For mild to moderate infections, the usual dose of erythromycin ethylsuccinate is 30-50 mg/kg/day, taken in divided doses, once every 6 hours. For more severe infections, the dose can be doubled. For the prevention of bacterial endocarditis in patients with congenital, rheumatic or other acquired valvular heart disease undergoing dental or upper respiratory tract surgery, take 800 mg orally two hours before surgery (10 mg/kg for children), and then take another 400 mg orally 6 hours after the first dose (5 mg/kg for children). Treatment of urethritis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum: 800 mg once, 3 times a day, for 7 consecutive days. Treatment of early syphilis: Adults, 48-64g, divided into doses and taken within 10-15 days. Treatment of intestinal amoeba: Adults, 400 mg once, 4 times a day, for 10 to 14 days. Children: 40 to 50 mg/kg/day, divided into two doses, for 5 to 14 days. Treatment of Legionnaires’ disease: Although the optimal dose has not yet been determined, according to clinical data reports, the dose is 1.6 to 4 g per day, divided into two doses. Erythromycin ethylsuccinate capsules for oral administration. Adults: 0.5 g each time, 3 times a day. Prevention of streptococcal infection: 0.5 g once, 2 times a day. Chlamydia or Ureaplasma urealyticum infection: 0.75 g once, once every 8 hours, for 7 days; or 0.5 g once, once every 6 hours, for 14 days. Patients with Legionnaires’ disease, 0.5 g-1 g once, 4 times a day. Children, 7.5-12.5 mg/kg once, 4 times a day; or 15-25 mg/kg once, 2 times a day according to body weight; in severe cases, the daily dose can be doubled and taken in 4 doses. For children with pertussis, take 10-12.5mg/kg per time according to body weight, 4 times a day, for a course of 14 days.
