Emtricitabine and Tenofovir Tablets

Effects and Benefits:
For use in combination with other antiretroviral drugs to treat human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) infection in adults and adolescents (aged 12 years and above and weighing at least 35 kg).
Usage and Dosage:
Oral administration, can be taken before or after meals, it is recommended to take the medicine at the same time every day to avoid missing a dose. Before taking the medicine, you can drink a sip of water to moisten the throat to prevent the medicine from sticking to the oral cavity or esophageal wall. Sit or stand, and take it with an appropriate amount of warm water. Even if the condition is relieved, do not stop taking the medicine unless instructed by a doctor. If you are undergoing dialysis, please take this product after dialysis. Determine the dose of emtricitabine and tenofovir alafenamide according to the third drug in the HIV treatment regimen: If the third drug in the HIV treatment regimen is: ① atazanavir combined with ritonavir or cobicistat; ② darunavir combined with ritonavir or cobicistat; ③ lopinavir combined with ritonavir, the dose of emtricitabine and tenofovir alafenamide is one tablet each time (specification is 200/10mg, i.e. dosage form ①), once a day. If the third drug in the HIV treatment regimen is one of dolutegravir, efavirenz, maraviroc, nevirapine, rilpivirine, and raltegravir, the dose of emtricitabine and tenofovir alafenamide is one tablet each time (specification is 200/25mg, i.e. dosage form ②), once a day.
