Diprophylline Injection

Effects and efficacy:
Dihydroxypropylphylline is mainly used to treat bronchial asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, chronic emphysema and cardiogenic asthma, etc. Asthma patients with obvious tachycardia can also choose this product. Dihydroxypropylphylline can be used to relieve wheezing symptoms caused by cardiogenic pulmonary edema. However, dihydroxypropylphylline is not the first choice for severe acute asthma attacks.
Usage and dosage:
Oral medication for adults: 0.1-0.2g once (0.1g per tablet, 1-2 tablets), 3 times a day, and the maximum dose is 0.5g once. Please consult a doctor or pharmacist for details. Since asthma often attacks in the early morning, the last dose of the day can be arranged before bedtime to effectively control asthma attacks at night or in the early morning. Intramuscular or intravenous injection: 0.25-0.75g once. Dihydroxypropylphylline powder injection or small volume injection is diluted with 5% or 10% glucose injection for use. The intravenous drip rate should not be too fast. Rectal administration: 0.25g once, 2-3 times a day.
Drug contraindications:
Contraindicated for allergic reaction to this product. Use with caution in neonates. Use with caution during pregnancy. Use with caution during lactation. Use with caution in patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency.
