Diammonium Glycyrrhizinate

Function:
Diammonium glycyrrhizinate is suitable for the treatment of acute and chronic viral hepatitis associated with elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT), including the treatment of chronic hepatitis B, chronic hepatitis C, acute viral hepatitis, etc. Diammonium glycyrrhizinate can significantly prevent the increase in serum ALT caused by galactosamine, carbon tetrachloride and thioacetamide, and improve damaged liver tissue. It can resist damage to liver cell mitochondria and nucleoli caused by galactosamine, increase liver glycogen and nucleic acid content, reduce liver cell necrosis, and accelerate liver cell recovery.

Dosage:
Oral medication: 0.15g once, 3 times a day. Intravenous drip: 0.15g (1 bottle at a time), once a day; dissolve the powder injection with water for injection, then dilute it with 250ml of 10% glucose injection and infuse slowly. If increments are needed, the daily dose should not exceed 300 mg. Pay attention to monitor blood pressure and serum potassium and sodium levels during medication. Food does not affect the absorption of diammonium glycyrrhizinate, and it can be taken before or after meals. However, please note that the enteric solvent type of this product must be swallowed completely and cannot be broken, chewed or crushed before taking.
