Clopavir hydrochloride capsule is an antiviral drug used in combination with sofosbuvir to treat chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection, with or without compensated cirrhosis.
Treatment of chronic HCV infection: mainly includes chronic HCV infection in adults with genotypes 1, 2, 3, and 6 who are new to treatment or have been treated with interferon.
Treatment of compensated cirrhosis caused by HCV infection: Chronic hepatitis C infection is one of the common causes of cirrhosis. In the stage of compensated cirrhosis, that is, when the liver function is within the compensatory range, there are no significant complications at this stage.
Clopavir hydrochloride capsules achieve antiviral effects by inhibiting the replication of non-structural protein phosphoprotein NS5A, blocking the interaction between NS5A and HCV proteins or host cell factors, and blocking the replication and synthesis of hepatitis C virus.
