Effects and efficacy: It can be used to control various types of epilepsy, especially for absence seizures, infantile spasms, myoclonic seizures, akinetic seizures and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.
Usage and dosage: Clonazepam injection can be used for intravenous injection to control status epilepticus. The usual dose for adults is 1-4 mg, which is injected slowly in about 30 seconds. If the status epilepticus is still not controlled, the original dose can be repeated 1-2 times every 20 minutes. The maximum daily dose for adults is not more than 20 mg. Please follow the doctor’s advice for details. The usual dose of clonazepam tablets for adults: Start with 0.5 mg each time, 3 times a day, and increase by 0.5-1 mg every 3 days until the seizure is controlled or adverse reactions occur. The dosage should be individualized, and the maximum daily dose for adults should not exceed 20 mg. Common dosage for children: Children aged 10 years or under 30 kg should start with 0.01-0.03 mg/kg per day, divided into 2-3 doses, and then increase by 0.25-0.5 mg every 3 days until the dose reaches 0.1-0.2 mg/kg per day or adverse reactions occur. The course of clonazepam should not exceed 3-6 months.
Drug contraindications:
Allergic to this product is prohibited during lactation, pregnancy, newborns, children, and liver and kidney dysfunction.
