Effects and efficacy:
Treats infections caused by sensitive bacteria, including otitis media, sinusitis, suppurative tonsillitis, pneumonia, skin and soft tissue infections, and vaginal diseases caused by bacteria. In the treatment of bone and joint infections, abdominal infections, pelvic infections, empyema, lung abscesses, osteomyelitis, sepsis and other diseases, this product can be used alone or in combination with other antibacterial drugs according to the patient’s condition.
Usage and dosage:
Adult dosage for oral administration: Adults – 0.15-0.3g once, 3-4 times/day. Injection: This product can be administered by deep intramuscular injection or intravenous drip, 0.6-1.2g per day, divided into 2-3 doses. Vaginal administration: Place an effervescent tablet into the vaginal vault, once a day, for 3 consecutive days, or take the medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Note: When intravenously dripping, each 0.3g needs to be diluted with 50-100ml of normal saline or 5% glucose solution to a concentration of less than 6mg/ml, and drip slowly, usually not more than 20mg per minute. For mild to moderate infections, adults take 0.6-1.2g a day, divided into 2-4 doses (q12h-q6h); for severe infections, adults take 1.2-2.7g a day, divided into 2-4 doses (q12h-q6h). For children, the dosage is 10-30mg/kg per day, divided into 2-3 doses; for intramuscular injection or infusion, 10-30mg/kg per day, divided into 2-3 doses. Use with caution in children under 4 years old. Children should be treated under the guidance of a doctor and under the supervision of an adult. After washing and drying the affected area with external solution or gel, apply it once in the morning and evening. Do not use gauze or bandages after medication.
Adverse reactions:
Common gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, anal itching, nausea, and vomiting; in severe cases, pseudomembranous colitis may occur, manifested as abdominal colic, abdominal tenderness, severe diarrhea (watery or bloody), accompanied by fever, abnormal thirst, fatigue, etc. Skin rash, itching, allergic reactions, angioneurotic edema, serum sickness-like reactions, severe erythema multiforme, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, candidal infection, etc. can also be seen. Rapid intravenous injection of large doses can cause a drop in blood pressure, heart rate disturbances, electrocardiogram changes, etc., and occasionally cause cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest. In addition, intravenous administration can also cause thrombophlebitis. Elderly male patients with prostatic hyperplasia may occasionally experience urinary retention due to the neuromuscular blocking effect of this product when using larger doses.
Drug contraindications:
Contraindicated during lactation, contraindicated for allergic reactions to this product, and used with caution during pregnancy
