Effects and efficacy: This product is mainly used for the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, lower respiratory tract infections, and skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria. Lower respiratory tract infections: such as bronchitis, pneumonia, etc. Nasopharyngeal infections: including tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and sinusitis. Skin and soft tissue infections: such as folliculitis, impetigo, cellulitis, erysipelas, furuncle and wound infections, acute otitis media, Mycoplasma pneumonia, urethritis and cervicitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis, etc. Local or disseminated infections caused by Mycobacterium avium or intracellular Mycobacterium; local infections caused by Mycobacterium chelonae, Mycobacterium accidentum, and Mycobacterium kansasii; used for HIV-infected patients (CD4 lymphocyte count ≤ 100/mm) to prevent disseminated Mycobacterium avium. It can also be used for the treatment of toxoplasmosis, Legionella infection, and odontogenic infection. Dosage and Administration:
For adults, take 250~500mg orally, twice a day, for a course of 7~14 days; for intravenous drip, take 500mg twice a day, for a course of 7~14 days. Patients with severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance <25ml/min) should halve the dosage. Please consult a doctor for details. For children over 6 months old, take 7.5mg/kg twice a day according to body weight. Or take the medicine orally as follows: 8-11kg, 62.5mg once, once every 12 hours; 12-19kg, 125mg once, once every 12 hours; 20-29kg, 187.5mg once, once every 12 hours; 30-40kg, 250mg once, once every 12 hours; take it continuously for 5~10 days according to the severity of the infection. Note: Children must take the medicine under the guidance of a doctor and adult supervision. Combined with other antibacterial drugs to treat Helicobacter pylori infection, 0.5 g once, twice a day, orally after meals, for 7 or 10 days (for areas with serious bacterial resistance, it can be considered to be appropriately extended to 14 days, but the course of treatment should not exceed 14 days).
