Cinacalcet Hydrochloride CAS

Effects and efficacy:
Cinacalcet is used to treat secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) undergoing maintenance dialysis.

Dosage and administration:
The dosage and administration of different dosage forms and specifications of Cinacalcet may vary. Please refer to the specific drug entry or follow the doctor’s advice. Cinacalcet hydrochloride tablets should be taken orally. The initial dose is 25 mg (1 tablet) for adults, once a day. The drug should be taken with meals or immediately after meals. The drug needs to be swallowed whole, and it is not recommended to take it after cutting. Based on the full observation of the patient’s intact parathyroid hormone (IPTH) and serum calcium and phosphorus concentrations, the dose can be gradually increased from 25 mg to 75 mg once a day. If hyperparathyroidism is still not corrected, the maximum daily dose is 100 mg. When increasing the dose, the increment adjustment range is 25 mg each time, and the increment adjustment interval is not less than 3 weeks. Note: For drugs packaged in PTP, the drugs must be taken after being taken out of the PTP board (there are literature reports of hard edges of PTP boards piercing the esophageal mucosa due to accidental ingestion, leading to serious complications such as perforation and mediastinal inflammation).

Drug contraindications:
Allergic to this product is prohibited. Use with caution in case of liver damage. Use with caution during pregnancy and lactation.
