Effects and efficacy: Butenafine hydrochloride cream is an antifungal drug. It is a benzylamine derivative, and its mechanism of action is to selectively inhibit fungal squalene epoxidase. It interferes with the biosynthesis of ergosterol in the fungal cell wall, affects the lipid metabolism of the fungus, and causes fungal cell damage or death, thereby playing a bactericidal and antibacterial role. Usage and dosage: For external use only, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area each time. No bandage is required after application. When used for tinea pedis, use it twice a day for 7 consecutive days, or once a day for 4 consecutive weeks. When used for tinea corporis and tinea cruris, use it once a day for 2 consecutive weeks. Adverse reactions: Less than 2% of patients who use the drug have adverse reactions such as contact dermatitis, erythema, irritation, dryness, itching, burning sensation, and aggravated symptoms.
